GRRRR! Of course I was a good boy and had a backup of my catalog, so yesterday I restored one from right before my first export attempt. It seemed that a lot of the photos had additional edits applied. Basically, just Import, Multiple Settings (that may have been me), Camera Raw Settings and Export. Nearly all history steps had been replaced with "Camera Raw Settings" and it was impossible to retrace what happened. Now for the really bad part: I realized that EVERY photo had been altered in my lightroom catalog. I created some new albums and that was going OK. I was reorganizing my Flickr albums which in itself is not fun. So after a few days of messing around, I gave up the experiment and went back to LR. Not good.Īnd many (not all) TIFF files would not render. Now after exporting my catalog, I had about 26,000 out of 36,000 photos in On1. They sent me a new patch and that got past it. On1 support was able to get me through that and pointed out the "Find All Missing Photos" function. Anyway, I downloaded the trial and started by exporting my catalog.įirst, that hit failures during export. But I did not want to start over since I've been using LR (plus a few plugins) exclusively since version 2. I am not that unhappy with LR Classic other than a few bugs.
